"Not for Resale" Games?

Heloo, long time lurker, first time poster. You know those disks that come in magazines, console bundles and such, can I still trade those? I've seen things like "The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker"  And the same game with "demodisk " in parentthesis.

Got God of War Chains of Olympus (PSP) full game from the Red PSP bundle

yeah, you can. just look them up in the games. there are alot of demo discs.

Actually Good of War Bundle come's with a lttle cardboard thing to put the disc, the disc (which is the full game.), and the regular game's manual.

Sounds to me like Disk+Manual would be the appropriate listing.  And it is fine to trade disks that are marked "Not For Resale" - those just get marked that way so retailers don't canibalize bundled packages and sell the peices independently.  But Gamestop for instance will let you trade in games that are marked "Not For Resale" (and will sell them as used games too).

I would have to go with 'disc only' option as well. I know I would be pretty peeved if I requested God of War full package and got the little cardboard-cased, bundle version. Just my opinion.

But he said that he also received the manual too. Why wouldn't you list it as disc + manual?

i would list it as disc only. maybe people would expect a full menu even with a demo disc

It's not a demo disc. It's a retail version bundled with the consle + the manual

The not for resale comes is for stores so that they don't take out a freebie and sell it as a standalone product, such as games that come with systems. Trading them privately, however, is quite fine. As long as you list the game appropriately, they're fine to be listed. Like others said, if you're going to trade the God of War: Chains of Olympus that came with the PSP, make sure to select the correct package status. However, once you do that it's fine to trade them.

I agree. My copy of Metal Gear Solid 4 Came with my PS3 says "Not for Resale". As long as you specify, it should be fine.
