If it's 300 points more, then I'd say no, it's not worth it. Some of the extras are cool, but nowhere near cool enough to justify that IMHO. I'd go with Sons of Liberty. It's incredible on its own.
Well going by the back of my Substance case. Here's the list of exclusives
- 350 VR missions and 150 alternate missions
- Play through 5 new Snake Tales involving Solid Snake
- Casting Theater, and Boss Survival Mode
- Skateboarding minigame.
if u enjoyed the first VR training game id get substance. the VR training is pretty fun and u get the MGS2 experience and those bonuses
pick the one that will get to you faster and is cheeper. I think the Substance is more of a collecters kinda thing, maybe with some deleted scenes and some extra VR type simulator missions.
400 points is worth it for either version. I loved MGS2. Honestly, though, I'd just get whatever you can get your hands on. I, personally, wasn't inspired by the additions to subsistance when I played through them.
For President!
As you can see from my sig, I went with Sons of Liberty, but I might get Substance later just for collection purposes. Thanks for the responses.
I have the regular Sons of Liberty and i really enjoyed it. I don't really mind the subsistance of Sons of Liberty or Snake Eater. Just the online mode on Snake Eater is really fun. But extras are always good...
