Detective comics #1 Issued in May 1939, it is prized as the first comic book to feature Batman.

Approximate Value (In "near mint" condition):
$375,000 USD.

Action Comics #1 Published in June of 1938, the first issue of Action Comics marked the original appearance of Superman.

Approximate Value (In "near mint" condition):
$440,000 USD.

Superman #1 The first comic book devoted to Superman, reprinting the original Action Comics story, was published in the summer of 1939.

Approximate Value (In "near mint" condition):

Do you think video games will be worth this much one day?

Maybe it depends on the demand I mean those comics are all established franchises now.

I doubt it based on the type of media. Comics are printed on paper which can fall apart and rot away while games are pressed polycarbonate that can last hundreds of years. Games will last longer than comic books

No, nor will they rival baseball cards' values.   There is collectibility in video games, but not to the extent of high-end comics.

The one thing that will keep video games below the collectibility of other media over time is that they become obsolete. 50 years from now, you most likely won't even be able to buy a video display that you can plug modern game systems in to.

Game batteries die. Metal connectors rust, and discs get scratched beyond repair. Games can last a while. but hundreds of years is pushing it.

Mint condition classic games and other rare games frequently  sell for a high value over Ebay which will only increase over time.

Chrono Trigger unopened \ has sold for over $300 on Ebay. And Panzer Dragoon saga regurally sells for north of $200 and this will only go up as it's 5000 copies become less and less available.
