CD or DVD version?

 Hi, this has probably been asked before, but I can't find it.

 Is there a way to make it so that I can get the DVD version of a PC game in cases where there's a DVD version and a CD version available? For example, I just received FarCry, which is available on either 1 DVD or 5 CDs. I ended up getting the 5 CD version (who buys those??)

Is there any any way to differentiate these?

Some of the listings will specify which version they are. If they don't, it's pretty much luck of the draw. I feel your pain though. I just did a 6-disc install of Battle for Middle-Earth II.
