To those of you who have played it already what did you thing? Was it strange or uncomfortable or still pretty fun. Just wondering cause I got matched for it and I was wondering if I should be excited to get it or not haha.
If you are a Guitar Hero fan, you'll love it. It is GH and it is portable. As a DS game, you are already understanding of the song limitations...so knowing all this, again if you are a GH fan, you'll be amped. I'm an average fan, and I feel that the control scheme is a bit cramped. The star power feature is impossible as you need to press the d-pad, but the alternative star power is a hillarious option. Overall, it is good....just limiting.

It's fun and I enjoyed it, but I was able to beat the Hard campaign in about 3-4 hours (I only had to play the last song more than once to beat it). I'm not adventurous enough to try to beat it on Expert. The song selection seems a little more aimed at easier Pop hits (because it is a DS game after all).
The name of my band was "CTCinder". Why? Because there is an 8 character limit for the band name, and it is a bit uncomfortable to play after a few songs (CTCinder was short for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome). In the end, though, it's not that bad.
It definitely feels like a Guitar Hero game, but it does not give as much of a sense of being a (fake) rocker as the plastic guitar controllers do.
Overall, I'd give it an 8 out of 10.

My kids love it and I find it enjoyable,too.It is easy and my son beat it on medium in one day.Some of the songs are weak,IMO.
Not a buyer,though.W'ere renting.
It feels like any other guitar hero tbh, and they did a great job for the DS. Be expecting some pain in your wrist for this one though
Well as of now I don't know if I am even going to get it...the user sent me multiple PMs saying when he shipped it and everything but that was on June 24th and I still havn't received the game :/.
