So they've officially released video of the new call of duty game and it's confirmed that they are again going back in time for this game. What a bummer. I purposefully ignored all the other COD games before Modern Warfare because using weapons of the past and interacting with WWII just doens't appeal to me. I'm not sure what period of time this game is supposed to take place in, or where, I don't care to look into it either. Infinity Ward had it on the right tracks and whatever this other company is just ripped it's heart out. I'm sure plenty of people will be happy with this game, though. The action does look really good, the graphics great, but why do they insist on going into the past?
On the brighter side, I was watching X-Play the other day and they said that there are rumors that COD6 will actually take place some time in the future. That could be cool. Lets hope.
From what i saw the graphics didnt seem as great as COD4's did.... also i dont like the idea of going back in time and using older weapons... i love the weapons the world has now as they really are customizable as all get out... i think the game is supposed to be set in vietnam which would seem sort of cool as i dont know crap about nam and would like to learn more and i loved platoon and full metal jacket... idk how they are gonna pull off the level system but your going to be able to play co-op either split screen or over online and gain xp and complete challenges that way.... i still would rather have IW on it rather than Treyarch.
