Cussed out, and written one hell of a nice PM for giving what he had coming for a rating, which was a negative.
I was sent a totally scratched up, deep scratchs mind you, that doesnt work, and had even scratches on the top coating as well, as you can see:
And what I got for being honest, and warn other people on her was this reply for what I wrote:
Hey ***********. First of all its not a 360 game, not all original xbox games work on the 360. A secondly why did you get such a ************game. And lastly, this is a great site you get one bad game and you ******* judge the site. Give it another try i guarentee you will like it< but no one will like you.
And if this is the kind of stuff I am to get after paying into the site, and deal with this kind of people, I dont really want any part of it. The only reason Im not going after this guy was it was my disc I got with my free points to try out the site, and this was more then enough for me to say the hell with it, not worth me putting money in to this site.
Im sorry but this is not what I had in mind as far as doing deals here. This guy knew what he sent to me, and I get a reply back as How dare you give me a neg, I was to screw you over, and you were not supposed to do anything but give me a pos, as if the shoe was on the other foot, he'd be all calm about it and do nothing. and what suprises me the most is he knew thats what he sent to me, and then stuck a piece of paper in the envelope asking me to rate this transaction. That took some huge balls, to knowingly screw someone, and then ask them to rate how well he screwed you, but giving him a good rating :P:P:P
Anyway, thought I put my two cents into mee being new, my first transaction, what I got, what I did, and what I got for it, not worth me paying for this aggravation.

That stinks your first transaction here was so negative. Goozex is a growing community, but in even small communities there's going to be people who would sooner spit on you than look at you. Especially internet based communities. Looks like you got a bad egg right off the bat.
Please know that you are protected with the Goozex Guarantee. The G-Team filters through all negative feedback, and after checking or investigating the feedback they will refund your points and trade credit if you receive a game that is damaged and unplayable. Obviously they can't filter every PM that gets sent between users in order to block the rude ones - but they're very good about making sure people don't lose points on bad transactions.

Most people get points by trading in their old games they don't play anymore. Lots of people here have never bought points, myself included.
yea well... ill try to send in old games, i got a couple, the thing is im 14 and dunno if my mom will let me send in games, lol, ill ask her tho, she might say yes, i got like 2 or 3 ps3 games i could trade in for a bunch of points
My problem is that I am disabled, I cannot afford to get taken, or pay for shipping to get nothing back. I loved the concept of the site, and was really looking forward to giving it a try, because I too have several used games I wouldnt mind trading off, but mine are near perfect. I been doing on line trading for well over 10 year, have over 190 all pos ebay refs, and 190+ all pos heatware refs, and this is what I am afraid of, getting taken by people who think its ok to do so, and then when you give them the rating they need to get, they get all pissed off and threaten you, and all kinds of other great bs to go along with it. I dont need this kind of crap, I got soo much on my plate right now, all I want is a smooth transaction so I can game and forget my troubles for a bit. I been buying about 90% of my games off half.com for under $10 each, and not once yet have I been disapointed, and I waited forever for my first game from here, picked on, first on the list, waited a month, got nothing, changed to a different game, and this is what I got after waiting another 3 weeks.
Anyway, IF, they do decide to refund my points, I will try again, because then its not my money, and give the site a 2nd chance, but if it happens on my second attempt, Im through with it and will just stick with what I been doing, which is a total shame, I really was looking forward to trading my old stuff in, and just be out shipping, and get something else, it seemed cool.
Anyway, thanks for the replies, I will see what the site is going to do about this, if they do, and go from there, but right now Im not trading or buying any points to have this happen again to me.
You don't really put all that much money into the site anyway, but one bad experience shouldn't keep you from getting another game because most people on the site are considerate and I have had nothing but good experiences so far. Don't let one d bag ruin it for you because this is by far the best way to trade games.
It's not really a question of "IF". You will get your points back because you left him a neg.

Lol That is pretty bad that the person tried to do it, but it's not always like that, there will be a few people who do that but not much, and besides if u give a person a negative feedback then uget ur refund on points so basically ur not being screwd over just give it another try, i was iffy about this site too but after i got my first 4 games in perfect condition, maybe 1 little tiny scratch, i kept going and im loving this site
It's important to remember that this is like ebay. Just because one user sends you a bad disc(Crash Twinsanity is backwards compatible, I just checked, so that guy was being an ass and trying to weasel his way out) doesn't mean you should damn the entire site and it's userbase. I have sent out 32 games, all of which were in great condition and people were happy with, and recieved 6 perfect condition games.
The fact that you took pictures and left a negative means you will be getting your points back. So just give it one more shot. It's really a great serivce to use with the price of games today.
It costs between $2 and$2.50 to send out the average game. The price isn't very prohibitive. And yea, PS3 games should fetch a fair price here considering how young the console is. More than you'll likely get at Gamestop anyway. Keep in mind 100 pts is equal to about $5
It appears I'll be giving my first negative to a person for not receiving the game. The game "shipped" on the 8th. No game yet and no reply to PM's. Can't win them all I guess. I think I would be a lot more mad if I did receive the game but it was in the condition of the OP's. That's just inconsiderate.
But the problem lies there, and with the guy I dealt with. you all are so used to getting screwed, you feel its no big deal, everyone gets screwed. Even the guy I traded with had 20 or so pos, no neg, but in his reply he knowlingly said, you get one bad game and you judge the site, as if to say, I know I screwed you, I get screwed too, its part of the site, deal with it, so what if I screwed you and sent you a bad game, why you give me a bad rating for it??
Thats not the way I trade, and NO ONE should feel its part of being at a site, no matter if your just trading, or paying for it, you expect the same thing that you want to have done to you if your a respectable trader, and not screw anyone. And then you got the ones that do, feeling its ok, because they get screwed, who would pitch a fit if they got taken them self.
Thats not a good site and place to be IMO, I want a place that everyone is to respect one another best as possible, and if they screw someone, they should be perma baned for ever. You either do it right, so everyone can expect what they are pay/trading for or get the hell out and never return. This way you dont get the replies like I been getting in here, and in pm, saying "dont let one deal turn you away, I have been taken by many times but I still come back and trade"
Im sorry, but why they hell come back if you get say 5 out of 20 bad deals, thats messed up, thats your time and gas getting what you traded in out to people, to get a game in return thats totally mesed up beyond repair. What is your time worth to you? I know mine is not worth this kind of hassle, and grief back, to want to do anything more with the site.
Something needs to be done so that the members here dont think getting screwed every now and then is part of trading on this site. If they got memebers who get one neg, ditch them. they know exactly what it is they are puttin in the mail and doing, its not as if they never played the game, or looked at it ever to not know how messed up the disc is before they put it in the mail. One strike, your gone for good. Black list their IP, write doen their name and addresses, and have a mod keep double checking ips on new people who sign up to keep them out.
Then everyone can sit back relax, knowing every trade is going to be a good trade. Not you get a bad one now and then, you just deal with it, and because you got taken, your going to take someone else, because again, its part of the site and dealing here. Next thing you know your getting 20 out fo 25 bad deals, and your still going, no big deal, and then you yourself start sending out the crap discs you got because, again you got screwed, its part of the site, they can now deal with it.
WRONG!!!!. Its got to end now before it turns into that, and its up to the makers of this site to provide us some sort of secruity to prefent, and get rid of asshats who do think its ok. Kids or adults, doesnt matter, or keep the kids out and make it a 18 or over site to get a little more people with a brain on their shoulders, who may think twice about screwing people over.
Of course this is my opinion, and I hope when I try again, as I said I dont get taken 2 times in a row, because then it will be the last straw and Im giving up on this site till something happens to the ones who knowingly screw people over, even now and then, get the hell out.

I'm new as well and I understand where you are coming from. I have yet to receive a game so I can't comment on condition of games received, but I have sent out about 5 games so far.
As far as getting screwed there seems to be some really good safeguards in place. Those being the feedback system and the G-Team. If you are unhappy you leave a negative and you get refunded the points, so the only thing you really lose is the time involved in the transaction. Sure that can be annoying, but sometimes you gotta take a little bad with the good. The internet is a big place...lots of unhonest people out there that think they can beat the system or think they are entitled to things. To expect nothing but perfection in an online community such as Goozex is a little unrealistic imo, but from what I have read they do a good job protecting the good guys.
