We have three common denominators, and this thread clearly proves that is not enough

I think we have many MORE threads that show that people cannot manage to list and ship correctly to the 3 options we have now ...

I don't know, maybe it's because there are enough permutations that don't fit into the three existing options? "I don't have a manual, but I have a case. Surely that's not a disc only..."

Incidentally, I can't get enough of that owl. Made my day.

So you're suggesting that getting a larger set of choices would allow them to act more intelligently?  Interesting proposition ...

Zing! I guess it is hard for a veteran to see how someone would have a problem with the way Goozex works. It's just so simple! I don't know, is it just that people are looking for a handout? That if you give things you don't want to others you'll get something in return, although you shouldn't expect good things if you treat your own stuff like crap?

That's a lesson I learned early on. The golden rule most certainly applies to Goozex, and it makes it a better place because of that.

I have no problem understanding your point - and really, when it comes down to it I would have no problem myself with a full matrix of check boxes or a 3x3 grid or whatever.  I'm good with this stuff ...

My point was that entirely too many people can't figure out how to stick a game in an envelope ... and this isn't even the 'I have the game and original box but lost the manual, how do I list it?' stuff.  This is more basic following directions and paying attention stuff.  Do you know what I mean?  I am asking that if they cannot select from 3, can we reasonably expect them to choose from 4 or 6 or 9?

Txa, I hear you. And I agree for the most part. It's a shame that we can't improve the system though because certain users can't even work the regular system.

Maybe Goozex needs some kind of litmus test or something to make you a new member. Is going to referrals only too much? It seems to me there is a pretty healthy ecosystem of users and games at this point; adding new morons can't be much of a priority, so if there was a way to weed them out to begin with...

Just my thoughts.

There would probably only be a couple hundred people left on Goozex if they did something like this Sad

Instead of three defined levels, each game has several check boxes when listing and requesting.
  • Disc (always)
  • Original Case
  • Manual
  • Accessories (where applicable)
  • Bonus Materials (where applicable)

When a new request comes in or a new listing is made, it is compared to the queue from the top down, until a match is made.

This is the single best method possible!!!
