Let's say you have the possibility to spend your Goozex points for something else than games (I know this is not possible, that's why this is a silly question ) .....
How much would you be willing to spend to get a brand new Playstation 3 (your max amount)?

I'm honestly not sure how many points either way... Obviously I'd like to get it for less than MSRP, but who wouldnt :)

I voted I wouldn't. I mean, besides for the fact that I already have one, I just feel like it'd drain my points, because most likely it'd be higher than MSRP, and Goozex is for games. Adding things significantly higher priced than other items would have an effect on Goozex I'm not sure would be so beneficial.

I voted 10,000. That's the absolute most I'd be willing to spend in points for the highest priced PS3 model. I think that if it were to happen, keeping it a bit above the market value would avoid people "cashing in" points to sell the console, but keeping it below market value would stimulate the economoy by having more PS3 traders around.

I voted for 10,000 largely following Tainted's trail of thought. However, I'd like to note that 10,000 is what I would pay if the PS3 were supplied by Goozex HQ. If I were getting it from an actual Goozex Trader I would pay 8,000 - I would love to get a PS3 through Goozex, but I would have trust issues getting one from any old Goozex trader.

Most heartily agree with you one that one. I would purchase systems through the Goozex HQ but through another user, no offense to the community. That would just be a big purchase to rooked over on.
I voted on never. Why? The Goozex community has been good to me so far, but there are a handful of people that would abuse the system. There would be strict protocols or guidelines to follow when sending out a system of high value. I'm picturing people having a fieldday with the possible system abuse.
Just read the previous post above mine. I agree, if it is from Goozex HQ = 10,000. From another user (unless I can honestly say I feel a lot of trust from them), then possibly 8000...or less.

This is quite the interesting idea, but I wouldn't want to trade in used consoles.
Indeed, I just assumed that you'd be getting one direct from Goozez HQ. I'd never deal in used consoles using the Goozex system. Random matching is not the system for that kind of thing.
