The (x until my turn) deal is frustrating, will I ever get rid of my games or are they just going to sit there in my library, I made my first connection in 5 minutes (DDR UNI W PAD) but it seems I will never get rid of the other ones I have and I've checked more i'm planning to add and they seem to have just as much waiting. Also, how long will it take me to get games I request. The (x number of turns) system is confusing and maybe I just don't understand it correctly but if someone could be kind enough to explain it better and help me figure out my concers it would be much appreciated!!
please, no links to other threads either I have read them and they don't help me!
Thanks in Advance

Patience is key. Games that are in demand will move faster than titles that are not as desired. The only way to increase your chances of being matched in general is to list all your games and wait for the matches.
I notice you've been a member for 1 day at this point. To already have one game traded is quite a good thing. I remember when I first joined and I waited with anticipation every day hoping to make another trade.

What games are in high demand, and also what does "long wait" mean. Thirdly, how much patience, would you think. Thanks for the quick response
You know exactly what games would be in demand, either from general gaming knowledge or by looking through the game top 10 lists on the front page. Anyhow, you have to be reasonable with the demand of the games in your library list. Why don't you list some of them here? There is a reason why you are trying to get rid of your games, right? Let's think about that for a moment.
You'll find answers to you "turns" questions throughout the forums. Just do a search and find the response that is the easiest for you to comprehend. Again, just set your lists and forget them. There is no reason to watch your lists.

How long does it usually take to find a match for a popular game, say World in Conflict or Gears of war?
Okay, say I have Hitman: Blood Money with 33 turms to go, I feel i'm pretty much outta luck, right or wrong?

one word, "Demand"
If someone wants it, they get it and the number goes down. And they match up by when you added it to your library/request list. It just takes patience, so just put your game up and hope it goes fast
or...
Go to gamestop and sell it for the little dog hair stuck to the employee's shoe
Since I really dont do much besides mess around on Goozex all day, heres a tip if you're like me and have nothing else better to do. Keep in mind I only trade full packages when you read this. If you have the full package listed as such check the trading info frequently. Keep your eyes on the *Ready section on the trade matrix. There may be no requestors *Ready for the full package but 20 for either the disc+manual or the disc only. If thereare requestors and not many sellers of that game in the other ship options change the listing from full package to G+M or Disc Only. Ive done this on most of my trades an the buyers are usually pleasantly surprised to get a full package instead of the other options available. And since the point value of the game doesnt change with the shipping option both parties will be satisfied! Mabe I should find some time to play more games instead of mindlessly browsing the trading phenom known as Goozex with no specific purpose all day everyday.
madfigs:Maybe I'm not understanding the advice correctly, but I don't think this revolutionary strategy actually works the way you think. People requesting disc + manual can still get matched with someone offering full package, and people requesting disc only can get matched with all three. Similarly, if you're offering full package you will already be matched with the first available request of any type.
Just an example the last game I think I did this with was Dawn of Mana for PS2. I had the game listed for about 1-2 weeks as full package. I checked the trading tab regularly and notice there were no ready requests for the full package and 2 requests for it in G+M and 5 in Disc Only. I then changed the listing to G+M and was matched almost immediatly. Ive found this to work everytime ive tried it. Thats my reasoning for the above advice. I just thought id give an example from my experiance for the OP. I could be wrong. I didnt know the matrix worked as you say it does. Thanks for correcting me if thats so.
I almost always request disc only, but I'd say the majority of matches I get are with people offering full package. Maybe you didn't have an open trade slot at the time?
Thanks for showing me madfigs. i now know. Its still puzzles me a little though cause i always have open slots. I never fill em all up.
