I have to admit, that's really tempting. I still have my copy. But why is it in such high demand?
It's a bit rare. If you don't want it, it's an easy way to net 1000 points. I know I want to play it, it's been on my request list forever.
I was surprised when I saw it at 1000 points when I sighed up. I listed it very quickly and it matched immediately. I enjoyed the game but it wasn’t worth keeping for me.

Yup, MvsC2 is rare. Also, isn't the game selling for over 80 dollars for full package on auction sites?

this game is worth mad money on ebay
Check out my travel blog (I'm in New Zealand currently) - www.lakerr.com
The Dreamcast version doesn't seem to go above fifty bucks or so, although the PS2/Xbox versions go for like $80 (even though they are inferior ports).
I would catch the $80 on cash from ebay than use that money to buy 1600 points. thats just me tho. LOL
I'm about to do that with thousand arms. It's about 650 points here, but I can get around $65 to $70 for mine since I have the Mem card stickers AND the Picture card that came with it. But instead of points, im saving up for my Japanese 360... IdolM@ster here I come!!!
Monkeys vs Chimps 2?
I was lucky enough to get this game last year at a swatmeet for $20 It's one of the games in my collection that i just will not part with unless they ever plan on releasing a part 3 which everybody knows probably will not happen anything soon or at all...

just curious, why do you think the ps2 version is an inferior port? i play 2d fighting games everyday on my ps2, but whenever i try to play it on my dreamcast i get a huge blister from the d-pad thats so rigid with a sharp edge to it
also this was the first game i looked up when i found out about goozex
It's a popular game, which can never legally be printed again in any form. This is why it's so expensive.

hmm... while it did come out for the dreamcast first, and probably does have closer spects due to the arcade version being a sega NAOMI cabinet instead of the CPS-2 that other capcom fighting games are on, i still enjoy the ps2 port over the dreamcast due to the fact you have to use L-trigger and the stiff d-pad i've always used..but maybe i just enjoy it more because i get my ass kicked on the dreamcast version instead of the ps2 port...what version did/do you predominantly play?
madfigs:And if it's on Wikipedia, it must be true!
actually wiki is right. Iused to own it for dc. after my room caught fire and i lost my copy of mvc2 in it i bought it for xbox. the xbox version has some of the screen cut out. this is also apparent in the ps2 version from the videos i see online. other than that it doesn't seem to be any more inferior.
