Just wondering who else is planning on getting Warhawk. I'm about to go pick it up from BestBuy once I get off work. Maybe we can all play together!
I'm seriously considering it, it looks fun. I'm not sure, might wait for a few more reviews. Wish there was a demo out on the PSN.
I was very close to buying this today. I bought a few other games, but this one I held off on. There has just been so much news about this game, that ironically, I didn't know what to make of the game. The IGN review looks great, so I regret not picking this up. I want to game on my PS3 so I am thinking that I'll probably go back this weekend and do just that.

I'll be eager to hear all of your feedback. I don't normally go for multiplayer-only games but Warhawk looks like it could be the exception.

Well I picked it up today, though I haven't played it yet. (Metroid Prime 3 seems to be sucking up all my gaming time). Question about when I make it active in my library, though: Can I still list the game as full package without the Bluetooth Headset? It has it's own case, manual and disc, and I need that headset for my cell, heh. I don't think the box on the game in the Goozex listing mentions a headset...
Ive been playing it the past couple nights. Its really pretty good. Like most games, it may have been over hyped. I dont really mind that its MP only as that all I usually play anyway.
The best way that I can describe it is, the ground combat is almost identical to Star Wars Battlefont and the air combat is almost identical to Crimson Skies. The similarities on both fronts are pretty uncanny. I do think Warhawk does all things alot better though.
Also for a PSN game, I was suprised at the lack of lag. Ive really yet to experience any to speak of. Though Ive had problems here ad there actualy getting into ranked matches. Nothing major. For me Id say its the only other must have for the PS3 other than maybe Resistance. Killer-Ap? Im not sure Id call it that.

Warhawk is real fun.
It's a must buy for PS3.
Lots of action. Great gameplay, no lag, 32 players.
Land and Air combat.
My only complaint at this point is joining ranked servers. Its a pain in the ars. Alot of times you try and join a room that has only 15 of 32 players in it and it will repeatedly say "room full".

The "full room" message" was getting pretty annoying when I tried to join a room with 8/20 people. I haven't got the flying part out with the tilt controls but its coming along even though it seems impossible. The aim assist comes in handy and the controls are pretty smooth.
Just wanted to share that there are now two different SKU/UPCs for Warhawk. One with the BT headset, and the other is without. I hope that this cause any confusion for Goozexers.

Actually, the 1.1 patch was recently released and I believe it fixed it.
