This game is worth buying. There is a lot of freedom to do what you wish, and the environment is awesome. Multiple endings give it some replay value. For the peanuts you'd have to pay for it nowadays, I highly recommend it.
I recommend the opposite, do yourself a favor and play the first one on pc. This one is garabage.
