Thanks for the encouragement. I have a whole bunch of games to list and I referred a bunch of people, so I hope that everything works out. Smile

I didn't have any concerns to send game to new user (I'm quite a new one myself Tongue Tied ), but when I began reading your post, I was concerned.

I send 2 games to new traders and had no problems and got my feedback and points.  But they were freshly registered users.  Now, I just get match for a game, new user, he registered in July and doesn't answer to PM.

My question is, do I will have to wait the actual 3 days before removing the game from the queue (it's Wii play, there is quite many many asking for it !)

And what about if I get match again with this user ????

As I'm new, I only have 2 slots [:'(]   .... and would that 100 so bad because it's what is missing me to get the game I want Devil

VTHodge:

I'm wondering what people's opinion is of declining to send 100-point "Free" games to people who have just signed up.  I'm still fairly new, and have limited outgoing trade slots, two of which are probably going to have to wait for the 21-day auto close because they went to people who seem to have just signed up to get their free game.  I just got a request for another one and I would rather leave my last slot open for some higher point games.

Is it OK for me to decline trades from people with zero feedback?  Should I just remove all of my 100-point games or wait until I have unlimited slots before I offer them?  I hate to wait for three weeks for what amounts to $2-3 profit after shipping.

Thanks for your input!

I always give the benefit of doubt for someone with no trades but if its a user who has only fiven one neg feedback i'll usually stay clear, but if you want to decline you have the right to as the seller.

This really gets me upset. Why do I have to pay for somebody else's doing. I'm a new user, I got my free game, gave feedback the day after I received the game. I have sent out 4 games already. And since yesterday I have been matched on 4 of my request, but of course the sellers have not confirmed it yet. I'm guessing is the whole issue with avoiding trades with new users. All of you were new users once, it's just not fair. I feel that I'm not really trading, just giving away my games because I can't get anything traded back. And if you do DC then there's nothing to lose because evethough you have to wait 21 days you will still get your positive feedback. That's not a nice welcome that you're giving new users. Remember the more users the more games to trade.

If it's just people letting the request time out and not actively declining it, this is a pretty common problem (especially with older games).  Some people only have a few games offered so they don't check the site much, then when they finally do get matched they don't realize it in time to confirm.

I think the problem with new users is specifically for people with 0 games sent out.  If you've already built up some trades, I doubt anyone will have a problem because of that.

Right.  If you've got 4 games sent out already, no-one will have any problems sending you games, because they know you're not a 'wham bam thank you goozex' type user who just wants their free game and then splits.

If it makes you feel better I sent out two games to zero feedback users yesterday/today (I'm in NZ and the time difference is screwing with me I guess it technically went out friday but it's Saturday here)
