This game is music creation software. Remember MTV Music Generator 3? That one was about remixing existing songs to your hearts content. I felt they used really good base songs, too. But it wasn't the true MTV MG 3. The true successor to MTV MG 3 Is Funkmaster Flex's Digital Hitz Factory. It comes with a microphone for recording short music and vocal samples.
Fans of MTV MG 2 will recognize the vertical scrolling tracks and many of the samples. Still in is all the power to create Riffs from all the samples in the game and your samples. The video editor will also seem familiar.
With Funkmaster Flex leading the title, one would expect this to be all about rap. Trust me, it has very little rap. Those not liking rap will be pleased, and those expecting rap will be disappointed. This is a nice addition to MTVMG and MTVMG2. Now get mixin'!
