You may remember the donation drive Goozex held for Cause, the non-profit organization that helps wounded troops recover in military hospitals. Walter Reed Army Medical Hospital is nearby Goozex HQ in Washington DC and we volunteer to help run the video game tournament there.
Left 4 Dead was the game played in the last tournament in March and Valve stepped up and donated swag to give out as prizes to the soldiers who played. We wanted to thank Valve and their team who contributed to making a big difference in the tournament. Doug Lombardi, VP of Marketing at Valve, wrote back saying to Cause, “Thanks for inviting us to contribute. God bless America, our troops and video games!”
