The Goozex Exchange (beta) is a new service from Goozex that allows members to spend their points and order new games from Goozex. Now you can trade your old games, earn points, and then put your points to good use and buy new games! The service is in "beta" right now, meaning that we are still testing some of the features. While in this state, Goozex offers a limited selection of titles, and runs it for limited time on a monthly basis. We anticipate that the service will be extended to cover a larger selection of titles, and that is will be available on a more continuous basis in the...

Hey everyone! Wanted to share a cool picture of Goozex growth in 2008. The picture below illustrates how tall the stack of games would be of all 2008 trades on Goozex. As you can see it would be basically twice as tall as the tallest skyscraper in the world, Al Burj (not yet built). That is epic growth in one year thanks to all the Goozex members that have been trading with us. To get a sense of how tall our Goozex Tower was at the end of 2007, the top of the "Trade" billboard on our building marks the spot. In other words, we've grown over 300% in just one year! Each brick in the...

Goozex works through a system of buying and selling games. You buy a new game, play it, and sell it back. That way, you keep a good supply of points at your disposal for new games. A problem comes into play when you really like a particular title, and you don’t want to sell it back, and then you don’t get your points back. All of a sudden you find yourself with no points and there are more games that you’d like to play. Like a lot of people, I can only afford one or two games a month, so I try to pick games I'll really like and stick with them for a while. Occasionally, this...

Mike Marks Says It's hard to believe that 10 years ago this very instant, I was at my parents house, pouring over page after page of the Sega Dreamcast magazine I had picked up. It wasn't my first game console, but it was my first console purchase, which was an even bigger deal to me. I had worked as a lifeguard all summer, and I honestly still remember walking into Best Buy and seeing the Sonic Adventure demo running, and racing back home to figure out if I could afford it. As my luck would have it, I could, and on 9/9/1999 I walked out of there one happy guy. The best part is, with 9...
